OhmicKit ("the app", "we", "us") is designed to work entirely on your device. We built it with a privacy-first, offline-only philosophy. This Privacy Policy explains — in plain language — exactly what happens to your information when you use the app. The short version: nothing leaves your device.
We do not collect any personal information. Specifically, we do not collect or process:
The app has no login and no user accounts, so there is nothing to register and no profile to build.
Some features let you save your work — for example, your calculation history and your list of favorite components. This information is stored locally on your device only (in the app's local storage). It is never uploaded to us or to any third party. You can remove it at any time by clearing your history/favorites in the app or by uninstalling the app.
The Component Finder feature can use your device camera (with your permission) to capture a photo of an electronic component. These images are processed entirely on your device and are held only in memory for the identification. Photos are never saved to our systems, never uploaded, and never shared. You can decline or revoke camera permission at any time in your device settings.
Because we do not collect your data, we have nothing to share, sell, rent, or disclose to advertisers, data brokers, partners, or any other third party. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
Core features — including all calculators, the reference library, the circuit designer, and component matching — work fully offline. The app does not send your personal data over the internet. Any network access used to load standard visual assets does not transmit or receive personal or usage information about you.
OhmicKit does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app is safe for users of all ages and complies with children's privacy expectations by simply not gathering any data.
If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this policy and revise the "Last updated" date above. Any future change will continue to honor our commitment: your data stays yours.
